MY TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
Strength and Conditioning are the backbone of a healthy, functional, pain-free adult. My philosophy is "Keep it simple." and I embody that philosophy with smart, time tested programming that guarantees results when paired with adequate recovery and consistency. Adherence to a workout schedule has been proven to boost your mood and energy levels, relieve pain by strengthening the muscles that support your joints, increase bone density, and maximize overall resilience. As Mark Rippetoe says, "Training makes you harder to kill and generally more useful."

I offer simple training that gives you a leg up in your every day life. For athletes, I offer performance boosting workouts that elevate your body's force production and ability to withstand extrinsic punishment. Everyone can benefit from the confidence of weightlifting, and I hope that you give it a chance no matter your age, sex, or walk of life.

WHY I TRAIN OTHERS
Realistically, most people on this planet are capable of more than they think they are, whether that’s long term or short term effort. “Oh, I could never lift that!” is the most common self-defeating phrase out there. Nearly every single person on this planet, disabilities and other circumstances withstanding, can become stronger — it’s as much a mental hurdle as it is a physical one.
I chose to pursue Personal Training for two reasons. One: I enjoy teaching others, and giving them structure in a world that can be confusing and scary when you’re first setting foot in it. Two: I want the best for my clients, and want to give them the tools they need to succeed. To that end, I will push you.

The basics built the world, and they will build you.
Six fundamental movement patterns make up all of the human movement system: Push, Pull, Hinge, Squat, Lunge, and Carry. Within each of these categories are many exercises and variations of exercises that are time-tested and have been proven to work. I am not here to reinvent the wheel, I am here to show you what good programming can achieve when combined with proper nutrition and adequate sleep.
